archTIS is excited to formally announce a new partnership with Canberra-based sovereign cloud provider, Vault. The partnership of these two organisations is great news for government and their industry partners, nationwide, providing a platform for secure sharing and collaboration on sensitive data.
archTIS’ suite of Kojensi products, the first of which is due for release in 2019, will be hosted on Vault’s ASD-accredited PROTECTED cloud.
Vault brings to the partnership years of experience in both the commercial and public space, operating the country’s largest secure, sovereign, hyperscale community cloud for government and critical infrastructure.
“Our strategic partnership combines archTIS’ next generation of secure information sharing and collaboration products, Kojensi, with Vault’s ASD certified cloud, creating a powerful solution for government and commercial clients.” said Daniel Lai, CEO of archTIS.
“Both Vault and archTIS have deep government experience and an acute understanding of the challenges governments face to collaborate in a secure environment. This has seen us both become trusted providers to government departments and agencies over the years.” said Mr Lai.
The partnership comes at a time where security of intellectual property and the safety of data is a big concern for companies, government agencies and the broader public.
“2018 has seen significant increase in cloud use and there is a growing demand for Software as a Service (SaaS). As the market becomes more mature, people are starting to ask ‘Where will my data be located?’, ‘Who will access my data?’ and ‘Which countries laws is my information subject to?” said Vault Founder and CEO Mr Rupert Taylor-Price.
When speaking on the impact of this partnership, archTIS’ Chairman and former Minister of Defence, Stephen Smith, said, “Government agencies that prioritise security and want to have confidence about access to their data, will find this Australian solution very valuable.”
Kojensi Gov, the first product available in the Kojensi suite, is due for Beta in the coming months. Kojensi Gov will be hosted on Vault and positioned as the government’s secure content and collaboration platform for classified content.
